Greetings, you maniacal meatbags! Today we have two announcements that work in tandem with each other: first, the $10K Apeiron Creator Challenge, and following swiftly on its heels, the $30K Apeiron x TALON Nova Tournament.
Over the past two months, we’ve migrated to Ronin, released an early build of our competitive PvP battle arena, announced a Token Battledrop campaign and TGE is coming. But we’re not slowing down! Of course we have our TGE and Community Round coming up soon — we are finalizing the dates very soon — but TODAY we’re happy to announce a new partner to the Apeiron ecosystem — TALON Esports!
TALON is one of the most successful esports teams in Asia Pacific and competes in League of Legends (PSG TALON), Valorant, Dota 2, Arena of Valor, Rainbow 6 Siege and PUBGM across 6 countries. TALON is no stranger to the Web 3 space with organization being a part of a number of projects including the Mythos Foundation, Valhalla, Highstreet Market and Yesports. Apeiron marks the first web 3 gaming partnership and will be the co-host of our Creator Challenge and Nova Tournament! Read more about that here.
Before we dive into the details, we have TWO important announcements: first, we are moving to Phase 2 of our PvP Testing. The PvP beta client has now been taken offline and we have moved to the staging client, which you will be able to download here. Additionally, you will need to use your Marketplace account to login to the staging client. This latest update will come with the following new features:
FOR THE FIRST TIME, players will be able to use their own NFTs to play PvP.
All Mock Planet NFTs will have no birth skills or perks.
All Mock Apostle NFTs Apostles will be IV 80, with skills at levels 3.
Please note that the Phase 2 PvP Leaderboard will not be active until Feb 9. This leaderboard will run until Feb 23.
Second, to celebrate the Lunar New Year, we will be giving out Red Packets to any PvP testers who reach Platinum or above until Feb 9. Red packets can contain any one of the following rewards: $5 USDC, Golden Apostle ticket, Apostle ticket, 1x mBH or 2x mBH! Wishing everydood good fortune ahead of the Year of the Doodragon~

Now then, let’s talk about the Apeiron Creator Challenge. We’ve been amazed at the warmth and kindness shown by the Ronin community as we migrated to the Ronin blockchain, and we wanted to show some love to y’all doods by hosting this special event!
Basically, we want to reward you guys for spreading the word of Apeiron, especially about our new PvP mode, which we think is awesome (only slightly biased) and which we want everyone to get hyped about. Here’s how it’ll work:
The Apeiron Creator Challenge
Goal — Get the word out about Apeiron! Create content about Apeiron, highlighting our PvP mode.
Duration — Feb 2 (00:00 GMT+8) to Feb 16 (23:59 GMT+8)

Structure — There are three categories for you to participate in:
Streaming (must have at least 5 streams of at least 90 mins during the event)
YouTube videos (videos or shorts)
X/Twitter Thread
Submitting your Content — In order to submit your YouTube or X/Twitter content for the Creator Challenge, you must post a link of your content to X/Twitter with the hashtags #ApeironNFT and #ApeironCC AND tag @ApeironNFT. In order to submit your Streaming content, please fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/og3W1hYp4SGbnGvx8.
Warning: Botting is strictly prohibited for the Creator Challenge. If botting is discovered for any submissions, those users will be immediately disqualified and banned from all future Apeiron events.
Rewards — $10K USD, to be distributed within a week following the conclusion of the event.
The rewards will be given out to the Top 5 streams, Top 5 YouTube videos, and Top 3 X/Twitter Threads.

After the Creator Challenge is complete, we’ll hold our Apeiron x Talon Nova Tournament. With this event, we’re looking to invite some of your favorite KOLs for a fun and action-packed PvP tournament brawl.
We’ll be bringing in 16 of the finest fighters in the land to duke it out for the crown while showcasing our newest game mode. We’ve already signed up some of the biggest names among web3 gaming creators, which we’ll announce over the course of the month. Get excited!
Here’s how this one’ll go down:
The Apeiron x Talon Nova Tournament
Goal — Showcase Apeiron’s PvP to the world! Each Conference (see below) will have 8 players.
Duration — March 1–3 (Eastern Conference — Asia)
March 8–10 (Western Conference — Americas)
To Join — By invitation only! If you have a favorite KOL you want us to invite, make some noise and get them playing our PvP! Each Conference will have 8 players.
Structure — The tournament will be a double-elimination bracket. Matches will be in the form of Bo3 games (one game = 3 rounds of play). Final matches will be Bo5 games.
For this tournament, each player will bring 3 decks, each deck with a different Avatar. Once a deck has won a game, it may not be used again within that set.
Rewards — $30K USD, split $15K for each Conference. Here’s how it will break down:
First: 5000 USD
Second: 3000 USD
Third: 2000 USD
Fourth: 1500 USD
Fifth: 1000 USD
Sixth: 1000 USD
Seventh: 750 USD
Eighth: 750 USD
In addition, all tournament participants will receive some Apeiron merch for joining.
We’ll also be having watch parties for the tournament on our Discord where you can join in on the fun and win some goodies (plushies, tickets) just for tuning in! So make sure you don’t miss it~
