Here ye, here ye, Godlings, Doods, one and all! We got news for you today. Specifically, we have two pieces of news for you: to start, we’re doing our first round of airdropping of Mini-Black Hole Tickets to be used in Celestial Conjunction planet breeding. Second, we’re announcing our next big community event, one revolving around the eternal struggle between good and evil: The Dichotomy War. There’s a lot to cover so let’s jump right in!

First, let’s talk about some Mini-Black Holes — the best kind of black holes. These are the NFTs that will power up your Celestial Conjunction rituals, pulling out the elemental essence of two planets and forging them together into a brave new world.

Specifically, when our Primeval Celestial Conjunction event launches later this month — in other words, when planet breeding goes live for the first time — you’ll need Mini-Black Hole NFTs to make the breeding happen.

The number of Mini-Black Hole NFTs that you need for your breeding is variable, and depends on the number of times a planet has been used in Celestial Conjunction — the more a planet’s spiritual essence is pulled upon, the more resistant it ultimately becomes towards the centripetal force, necessitating the use of more Mini-Black Holes.

Here’s what you can expect for using Mini-Black Holes:

So let’s run through an example or two to get the hang of it. Let’s say you have two Planets that have never been used in Celestial Conjunction before. Ok, simple enough: you’ll need 1 Mini-Black Hole per planet, so 2 in total (1 each).

Now let’s say you have one planet that has been used once and another planet that has been used twice. In this case, the first planet would need 3 Mini-Black Hole NFTs, and the second would need 6, for a total of 9.

For this airdrop, we’ll be shipping over 2 Mini-Black Hole NFTs per 2 Planets, so our holders can get right into the thick of breeding. If you own 2 Planets of any rarity, you’ll get two Mini-Black Holes! Then, if you own 4 Planets, you’ll get 4, and so on.

Please note that we’ll be performing a snapshot on Opensea BY THE END OF THURSDAY (June 9th) to confirm our holders who we’ll be aidropping the Mini-Black Holes to on Friday, June 10th!

And of course, as our Mini-Black Holes are also NFTs, you’re also free to exchange them on the marketplace should you so wish. You have the choice; the power is yours!

Now then, let’s zip right along to our other announcement today: the Dichotomy War!

Out in the far reaches of the Outer Sectors, a world was consumed by Chaos’ Taint. Interestingly, there was only one solitary hermit Dood living there. Her name? Mim. She lived a simple enough life, playing Solitaire and raising some goats. Then the Taint spread over the Planet but couldn’t find any Dood to corrupt — except for her. In a half-aware fury, the Taint corrupted Mim like it had never corrupted other Doods before, and she became especially vindictive, mean-spirited, petulant, naughty, and absolutely and totally insane: the Mad Bood Mim!

Mad Bood Mim flies around the universe on one of her goats (space goat!), cackling as she goes from galaxy to galaxy and makes as much mischief as she can manage before being chased away by Godlings. But this time she’s really gone and done it. She waited for an eclipse and during that brief moment of darkness flung herself into the Axis Mundi and stole the holy items needed to perform Celestial Conjunction!

Without those holy items, Celestial Conjunction, and thus the continuing expansion of the godiverse, cannot happen. This is a major crisis: and so it is that High Goddess Cosmos has rallied all Godlings to her banner, and sent out the call — to work together and retrieve the holy items, and bring back Celestial Conjunction for one and all!

Thus it was that the Godlings came together and started amassing their resources. It will take a massive expedition to the Outer Sectors to get back the holy items from Mim’s dark base on her Tainted planet. However…

Godlings aligned with the Heart of Virtue and Godlings aligned with the Heart of Malice came to a sudden realization. This would be an opportunity to gain the upper hand in the struggle between good and evil. To try and align the holy items of Celestial Conjunction with good or evil, at least for a while…

So it was that the Godlings split into two competing factions, and the Dichotomy War was born!

The Dichotomy Wars is a community event held on our Discord, starting today (June 7th, 19:00 GMT+8)! The event will run for one week, until June 14th (18:59 GMT+8). To participate, community members will purchase weapons to make their side stronger in the War to regain the holy items of Celestial Conjunction. Weapons are purchased through our Discord server Foonie Bot, using Souls as currency, which you can get simply by participating in our community.

Additionally, there will also be another quest! Of the weapons available to purchase, one will be the Eternal Sword of Power. Unfortunately, the sword will be a little short of power after sitting in disuse for so long. But never fear! You’ll be able to buy clues, which will provide hints for using the ESP in special circumstances, and thus restoring the holy items of Celestial Conjunction to their full strength and pushing back Mad Bood Mim!

Now then, that’s how it works, let’s talk rewards. The winning faction (between Heart of Virtue and Heart of Darkness) in the war effort to accrue weapons will have 20 winners chosen by raffle:

1 winner will get $100 USDC

9 winners will get $50 USDC

10 winners will get 1 Mini-Black Hole NFT for Celestial Conjunction

Additionally, there will be a prize pot of $1000 USDC up for grabs to the 10 clever godlings who figure out how to activate the Eternal Sword of Power — a value of $100 USDC each!
