The Doods are, by and large, a simple and humble bunch. They enjoy hanging out, chilling, relaxing, and eating…wow that’s a lot of eating. But sometimes, they step on each other’s toes without meaning to. Maybe the Warrior took too many chicken wings, leaving the others chicken wing-less. Maybe the Bard was practicing in the middle of the night and they couldn’t sleep because of all the racket. Or maybe they just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and then their God started throwing fireballs at them for some reason — or no reason. ARGGGHHHHH!!!

Every Dood has a breaking point, and once broken, there’s no going back: the Berserker Apostle is born! RARRRRR!!! In today’s blog, we’re announcing the Bonkers Berserker NFT Blowout! GRAAHHHHH!!!

Moooovvvinnngggg right along: the Berserker. The other Doods don’t dare talk about the Berserkers in front of their faces. Rather, they whisper amongst themselves and point: that one…he’s grumpy-manumpy. The Berserkers hear it all, but they don’t care…probably. Theirs is a smoldering fury. Contrary to popular Dood belief, they aren’t always angry or grumpy. But it is true that they are always just one straw away from breaking the camel’s back and unleashing their RAAAGGGEEEEEEE

So why do these angry Doods decide to follow you? Well, the Berserkers are responsible Doods. They recognize that they have a bunch of pent up RAAAAGGEEEE inside themselves, and they don’t necessarily want to take it out on the Doods around them. They went around looking for ways to channel their anger, and then you came along and offered them the opportunity to channel their anger into GLORIOUS COMBAT and hey, that works!

Speaking of combat, the Berserkers are, unsurprisingly, on the frontlines. These Doods actually cannot WAIT to get into the scrap, and charge ahead even of the Warriors and Guardians, often making the Vanguard of the team. Skills like Fury Charge help to propel them right into the middle of the enemy team, where they can begin to cause a raucous. Ideally they might be paired with Bards or Priests to then keep them alive, but they also have a few tricks of their own — the skill Last Chance, if timed right, will keep them going through even the most fatal of blows.

During downtime, the Berserker likes to read. They sit calmly next to the campfire and focus on whatever the latest chapter of their book is and politely ask to NOT BE DISTURBED, The other Apostles make sure to tread cautiously around them, especially the Rogues, who got a few bruises from when they tried to extract some finances from the Berserker. The one exception to this rule, surprisingly, is the Hunter. Maybe because they aren’t the best with the other Doods themselves, the Hunters like to occasionally chat with the Berserkers. Sometimes they’ll even go on hunts together. Although mostly they keep to themselves. It’s a mutual respect and quiet understanding kind of friendship.

So that’s the Berserker! Madman on the battlefield, ticking time bomb outside of it — always ready to rumble. Now how do you get the Berserker?
