Hello ladies and gentledoods, it’s time to report all the happenings of February!

Community — Asta the Overseer; Channel Cleanup; Souls to Stardust
Dev — We heard the early feedback and our emergency response unit has been activated.
With the Apeiron Battle Arena Open Beta launching on the Epic Store and Mavis Hub, we all know what time it is: time to compete! The Battle Arena Open Beta Testing Leaderboard is now UP and RUNNING from February 28th to March 18th, 2024 8AM HKT. Keep grinding to the top and earn as many Souls as you can so that you can claim $ANIMA when S3 is live!
Now without further ado, let’s go through all the info that our writers have gathered from the nooks and crannies of the Foonie HQ. Everyone is in turbo mode, thinking hard on the next big thing to bring to life within the godiverse 🔥
Community
Astariste, the 1st community raised Overseer.

It all began when she entered a fan art contest with her submission titled — Summoning the Dood God. Her winning entry of a chubby little dood preaching brought a big smile to our otherwise laconic faces. This early success encouraged her to continue pursuing her passion for art and sharing her works within the community. It wasn’t long before her next big opportunity arose during the Grand Prix, where she submitted a stunning entry of a website teaching other newcoming doods to understand Apeiron more in depth…. And this was just the beginning….

Because of her consistent production of amazing works and unwavering support, we knew she had what it takes to become a Dood Wrangler, tasked with moderating the community. During her time as a Dood Wrangler, she brought in other artists to help out and was the dood mascot during the first and second ESGS at our live fan event in the Philippines! She truly can do it all.
Not only did she help moderating the community, but recognizing her strength as a great artist, we appointed her as the Doodle Master! Since then, she has created tons of beautiful community artwork and hosted informative weekly videos. Thanks Asta, and it’s time for us to officially welcome you as part of the Foonie Family!

Channel Clean Up (Discord)
Things are moving along and FAST! We’re going to be making some minor adjustments to our Discord channels over the coming weeks, starting this Sunday March 3rd, such as mergers and deletions of channels. This is for efficiency. Efficiency is everything.
We are going to be archiving the following channels: 👻│soul-quest, Soul Vessel Exchange and Doodcast will be merged with Challenger.
Soul to Stardust Transition
The Soul shop is closing, and Souls in Discord will be transformed into Stardust! The Soul shop is currently undergoing renovation to become a Stardust shop in the Marketplace. Soon, you will be able to purchase items such as RON, FE, S2r and S2 Apostle tickets, and Doodraic seal with Stardust in the Apeiron Marketplace!
Instead of earning Souls, Stardust is the new currency that you can earn within Doodaria by engaging in the community and (of course) by completing the daily check-in on the Marketplace. If you are wondering what will happen to the remaining Souls in Discord, they are now eligible for exchange at a rate of 20 Souls: 1 Stardust. Exchange ’em or lose ‘em!

Ralo has showcased EXCEPTIONAL gameplay right from the early stages of his journey into the godiverse and we cannot wait to see him in action at the upcoming Nova Tournament! Apeiron Arena Open Beta Leaderboard!
Big news of the month: The Apeiron Battle Arena Open Beta is LIVE on the Epic Game Store and the Mavis Hub! 🥳🎉…and to go along with the beta release, leaderboard rewards are now available on Discord!
For the leaderboard happening between Feb 28th — March 18th, the rewards include Apostle tickets, Golden Apostle Tickets, Mythic Core, and a Raffle Entry for a PLANET @@ (Quite an exciting list of rewards). So, get your doodie butts settled into your gaming chairs and grind your way to the top of the leaderboard!
Rental Solutions with Partners
We understand that the current entry price for new players is high. One solution that we are working on is the implementation of a Scholarship system to make the game more accessible. This system will enable NFT owners to list their Planet and Apostle NFTs with the option to set a daily rental price and to list their assets publicly and privately, so that they can rent out their NFTs to friends and newcomers at a low cost.
With this system in place, we are hopeful that more players will be able to access the game, and then later, be inspired to get their own Planets!
Early Feedback => Emergency Response unit activated ⭐️📮
Feedback! We want it. We NEED it. We love it! And you’ve already provided some:
One of the major concerns raised was the limitation of having only one Quad Seed Planet, which restricts the choice for F2P players in upgrading to different skills. In response to this feedback, our game devs have taken note of all your suggestions and are working on increasing the number of available Seed Planets to five. The five Seed Planets will all be Quad Planets. The first will have an Avatar that possesses all four elements equally, while the other four will each have a higher elemental distribution in each element category so that players can try out different playstyles.
Another issue brought up was the unstable pings experienced by users far away from our server, potentially putting those with high ping at a disadvantage. We hear you and will be searching out for methods to address this matter to ensure fair gameplay for all. Our devs are on the case! We ask for your patience in the meantime.

Let’s Play Dice (Apostle Edition) 🎲
Seed Apostles! Much like Seed Planets, Seed Apostles will give players a chance to try out different Apostle team combinations. Players will receive 8 Seed Apostles, one each of Priest, Hunter, Warrior, Mage, Guardian, and Rogue, as well as two random ones from these six classes. For these Seed Apostles, IVs and skills are all random, and players will only get ONE free reroll everyday. If you get favorable Apostles, make sure to LOCK them in (as many as you like) in before rerolling so you don’t lose them! It’s time to roll the dice~
Note: if you would like to reroll your Apostle AFTER your daily free roll, you can do so by paying some ANIMUS.
To add some excitement to your climb up the leaderboard, the higher PvP tier you reach, the greater the chance of receiving Seed Apostles with a better IV range. Here is a chart to illustrate this concept 👏:
In addition, we now have a seasonal modifier that will increase the skills of the Apostle you own by +5 levels. For example, if you have a Guardian with a level 5 Baby Cage, level 5 Got Your Back, and a Level 5 Judgment Day, they will GROW into a level 10 Baby Cage, level 10 Got Your Back, and a level 10 Judgment Day.
Please note that Seed Apostles are NOT mintable, non-tradable, and won’t carry over to the S3 beta release. They’re more just so you can try out the PvP.
And GENTLE BUT NOT SO GENTLE REMINDER: Extra earning multiplier for those who OWN their own Apostle and Planet NFTs (learn more about it here).

Skill Cards Revolution
All avatar skill cards visuals have been re-designed to enhance the gameplay experience for our players. We’ve noticed that it might be difficult to quickly choose between skill cards during the fast-paced battles, and therefore the new designs made by our artists are more user-friendly and visually appealing, making it easier for players to navigate and use their skills effectively in the game.
“We’ve unified the styles of the elemental skill cards, but also chosen some simple geometry for the skill card designs for our players to distinguish them easily during battles. We hope that this little improvement would show that we deeply care about the gaming experience of our players.” — Felix, Art Director
Aside from a total revamp of Skill Cards, our 3D team has completed a majority of animation for the coming story and has passed on over to the programming team to figure out a way to script these animations! Hoping to find ways in streamlining our development so we can get more content out there.
Speedrunning to S4 Design
As the artists are finalizing character poses and animation effects in S3 story, they’ve also started to brainstorm character concept design for Season 4. The characters have been designed with unique features and characteristics that will bring them to life in the game. The art team has put a lot of effort into creating visually appealing and interesting characters for the upcoming season.
