Hey everyone! It’s September! As summer draws to a close and with autumn close on its heels, we’re looking forward to the future. For today’s blog post, we have news to share with you about the expansion of Planet breeding, the launch of the official Apeiron marketplace, the new Apeiron Demo Battlepass, and updates to our Discord server — Doodiquest Season 2! No hanging around for this one: let’s dive right in.

First and foremost — Planet breeding expansion! High Goddess Cosmos has been impressed with the expansion of the godiverse under the watchful eyes of our godlings, and has blessed us with the full power of Celestial Conjunction. Now all Planets — not just Primevals — are ready and available to start breeding! You can find our breeding platform here: https://marketplace.apeironnft.com/sanctuary/conjunction/

Accompanying our Planet breeding expansion, we are adjusting the costs. Right now, breeding Planets costs mini-Blackholes (mBH). Based on our monitoring of market conditions, we have decided to reduce the cost of mBH for breeds of Primeval Planets, while increasing the cost of mBH for breeding non-Primeval Duo and Pure element Planets. We will continue to monitor breeding rates and Planet prices on the market and make further adjustments to breeding costs as necessary. The mBH breeding cost adjustments are as follows (on a per Planet basis):

Please note that the mBH cost adjustments are effective today — except for Primeval Planets, which will be live next week on September 7th.

Next — the Apeiron Marketplace’s Emporium (for Planets) launches on September 7th! Going forward, this will be your one-stop shop for all your Apeiron needs. The Marketplace will not only host our assets, but is also integrated with our Sanctuary, where you can conduct Celestial Conjunction to breed new Planet NFTs, and our Expeditions, where you can stake your NFTs for a chance to win valuable rewards.

Previously we were hosting our assets on OpenSea. However, this was always a temporary solution. OpenSea suffers from its own bugs and technical issues, but more importantly they take a notable percentage cut of all transactions. On our official Marketplace, you’ll be able to buy and sell Apeiron NFTs with significantly reduced overhead.

Please note, however, that with the first phase of the Marketplace rollout it will only be Planet NFTs that we’re moving over — Foonie Emblems, Mini-Black Holes and others will remain on OpenSea for now.

Besides buying and selling Planets, we’ve also developed several useful functionalities for our Marketplace. For instance, you’ll be able to gift your Apeiron NFTs to your friends (or your enemies, I guess). Then, you’ll be able to view the latest and up-to-date detailed stats on your Planets and Stars. And finally, we’ve put together a custom set of filters so you can find just the Planet you need on the market.

So it’s time to migrate your Planets! As an Apeiron Planet NFT holder, what do you need to do when the market launches? First, you need to go to our website (https://marketplace.apeironnft.com/) and register an account, which is as simple as connecting your wallet. You’ll already be able to see and keep track of all of your Planets — and indeed, every Apeiron Planet NFT.

Please note that our Marketplace will NOT bring over your sales listings, if you have any. Therefore, if you want to sell your Planet on our Marketplace, you will need to make a new listing for it using the Sell button, at which point you’ll be either able to sell it at a fixed price or set up an auction for a period of time.

Now then — to celebrate the launch of our Marketplace, we’re also releasing the first half of our Apeiron Lunisolar Battlepass! You might be wondering: what the heck is this, why is it split in half, and what does it do? Well, dear reader, we have your answers!

The Apeiron Battlepass (Solar Fragment) is a gift to everyone who signs up an account on our Marketplace: we’ll airdrop you the Battlepass ABSOLUTELY STONE-COLD FREE. What does it do? Well, nothing — YET. You’ll need to get the other half (the Lunar Fragment), which you’ll be able to collect (also for free) through our Discord community events.

With both halves’ powers combined into the Apeiron Lunisolar Battlepass, you’ll be granted exclusive access to our Dungeon Demo, which will showcase what a run through Apeiron’s dungeon will play like! You’ll be able to take a powerful Tempest Avatar for a spin, sling spells and top-deck just the right card you need to turn the tide of battle in your favor! And as you go through the dungeon, you’ll add (joy!) new Apostles to your team, lose others (sadness!) and level up to get powerful new skills.

Can you reach the end of the dungeon? Or maybe you can — but what’s your time and stats? Alongside the release of the Dungeon Demo, we’ll be hosting a ton of contests for you guys to test your elite gamer skills, with a pile of prizes to give away so big it’ll make Santa Claus jealous. You don’t want to miss it, so pick up access through your Battlepass NOW!

Please note that if you are a Primeval Planet holder, you will automatically be granted access to the Dungeon Demo, so you don’t need to get the Battlepass.

Speaking of things the future holds (smooth transition), we have updates to our Discord! First, our Doodiquests and Alignment system are moving to a seasonal basis. Right now we feel that the systems in place — while fun — need a bit of a kick and freshening up. By moving to a seasonal basis, we can give out more rewards more frequently to everyone, while also giving our fans who are really engaged something to aim for over the course of the season. Right now we plan for the seasons to run for 2 months at a time.

As you progress through the daily Doodiquests, you’ll gain Souls to spend in the Soul Shop as well as unlock higher tiers of Alignment. Higher Alignment gives you access to special channels with — you guessed it — exclusive events, rewards, and everything you’ve come to know and love from our incredibly generous lord LoreKeeper.

Alongside our Alignment revamp, the Soul Shop will also get an update to its inventory — including a fresh new set of collectible charms — and we’re also adjusting our Dood-Hosted Events (DHEs). We want to make our DHEs more exciting, so we’re changing it up and raising the stakes — you’ll now need a ticket (purchasable from the Soul Shop) in order to get in, but each DHE will give out at least 3 Foonie Emblems or more! Use your Foonie Emblems to get Apeiron NFTs like Apostles and Planets, or even real life swag like T-shirts.
