Apeiron Updates: Dev Report July 2024

Bonjour, doods! Just as we are immersively playing Apeiron and watching the Olympics, July is leaving and August is coming. Which means that you know what time it is: Dev Report time! Let’s look at what we’ve done this month.

Community

AGW League Kicked Off!

Ladies and gentledoods, the AGW League has started! The SEA League began on July 23rd last week, while the NA League just began on July 30th, which was this Tuesday (from date of publication). So far, only the first week of the SEA League has been played, yet we already have the SEA League Leaderboard for everyone to track the rankings! Here’s also the NA League Leaderboard. 

Previously, we’ve announced that matches will be Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday at 1:00pm UTC, with SEA and NA matches alternating between every week. We are going to switch the time for the NA matches to 1:00am UTC, while for the SEA matches it’ll remain to be 1:00pm UTC. This will accommodate the time zones of our NA players and ensure everyone can perform their best.

During the SEA matches last week, more than 500 doods watched our live stream! If you don’t want to miss any of the actions, go to our Twitch and also come to our Discord. The Leagues have just started, so you can be sure that lots of exciting matches await! 🔥🔥

S3 Godling Testing

We’ve already launched our Primeval Testing to let Primeval Planet holders test out our S3’s new features. Starting from Aug 8th, we’ll launch the Godling Testing that allows ALL of our Planet holders to participate in our S3 PvE testing! 

You may download the newest testing version of Apeiron in our Discord #alpha-access channel. As always, if you’re a Planet holder but don’t have access to the channel, make sure to go to our Discord #link-account channel first.

Infographics Everywhere

Are you new to Apeiron? Still trying to understand how everything works? Fret not, our Community Team has prepared a lot of infographics for easy understanding! You’ll soon be able to find them on our social media platforms, including Discord, Twitter, and Facebook page. We understand that Apeiron has many systems and features, and so we decided to explain things simpler for our players. Get some tips and enjoy your Apeiron journey! 

Dev

New Dungeon, New Adventures

Thanks to the hard work of our programmers and game designers, the Primeval Testing release was successfully launched, with new features to the PvE dungeon game mode including the PvE Skill Tree and Artifact rework, hard mode and new dungeon scoring, hotpot, and Apostle squad features!

But our game designers haven’t just stopped there. In the coming months, they are going to work on the dungeon escape system and team Apostle replacement mechanism, as we’ve briefly explained in our last dev report. Let’s anticipate the advancements! 

Stake Like A VIP

Our web 3 team has been busy with finalizing the new S3 Apostle minting system and the Apostle bounty system, while the game team is further testing the Fury Avatar performance. Once they’re done, they’ll move on to develop a whole new staking VIP system, which allows players to gain VIP levels after a certain period of staking Apeiron NFTs. The longer you stake, the more rewards you get! This includes priority in Marketplace listings, additional free daily login make up, free Battle Pass redeem code, and more. If you’re already interested, stay tuned for more details in the future! 

Prospecting and Designing

Meanwhile, our artists are designing some new characters for the storyline in the future. Soon you’ll meet some new characters in the coming S3 beta release, and we gotta say the gods look very handsome and cool…Yet there are more of them! Can you guess what god is shown in the above artwork? 

The artists are also preparing a surprise for all of you, but let’s keep it secret for now, and look at this piece of funny parody artwork:
