About Apeiron

First of all - welcome to the godiverse! From now on, you are referred to as a godling. In the world of Apeiron, you are summoned by High Goddess Cosmos to fight against Mad God Chaos. You’re born as a newborn godling, ready to carve your own destiny among the stars. You now possess mighty powers, transforming into Planet Avatars that allow you to wield elemental powers with unique abilities and engage in epic battles! 

Fear not, you’re not alone on this divine adventure! You’ll be accompanied by our loyal dood Apostles, the little yellow creatures that worship and support you in every fight. However, beware of the boods, the purple little creatures that represent CHAOS! Steer clear of them, or fight them, and explore the vast godiverse on this special journey!

What is Apeiron? 

Apeiron is the world’s first god game x roguelite x battle arena. Dive into treacherous dungeons filled with formidable bosses in our PvE mode, where you can focus on fighting the hordes of enemies, while building and leveling up a team of powerful Apostles! Once your ultimate team is ready, challenge other players in the exhilarating PvP Arena, fighting for glory and rewards! Our unique real-time card battling system provides a refreshing and fast-paced gameplay experience, where players can explore different combos of Avatars and Apostles throughout their journey.

Where can I play Apeiron?
Currently, the game is only downloadable for PC on our official Website, Epic Games Store, Mavis HUB, and Hyperplay. You will soon be able to also download the Apeiron Mobile Version on the iOS App Store and Android Play Store, but in the meantime, pre-register here!

Is it free to play? Are there any aspects of the game I need to spend money on?

Apeiron is a completely free-to-play game! Download and install it, and you can dive right into the excitement. However, if you wish to get more powerful Planets or Apostles that are tailored to your style of gameplay, feel free to browse the official Marketplace. Like many other games, Apeiron has an in-game Battle Pass system that rewards users based on different milestones. Users may acquire the upgraded version by either purchasing it directly, or unlocking it using their own Planet NFT - more on the battlepass below!

What is the Battle Pass? 

The Battle Pass is an in-game system that includes many missions with rewards for any godling who is up for the challenge. With a separate Battle Pass for PvE and PvP, godlings have the chance to earn rewards in either game modes, while planet holders will be able to unlock the premium tiers (also purchasable) to maximize rewards! Refer to our previous article for further details.

What are the available game modes? 

Currently, there are two available game modes: PvE and PvP. In PvE, godlings dive into a roguelite dungeon to fight boods, and ultimately challenge the final dungeon boss in an exciting battle. In PvP, godlings will go up against each other and compete to win a Best of 3 using various strategies and team compositions!

On top of this, we have seasonal leaderboards for PvE and PvP that allow users to compete for many rewards! Stay tuned to our official Discord announcements for dates of the leaderboards and the matching juicy rewards! 

Player vs Environment (PvE) Dungeon

The Basics

The PvE game mode is where players dive into a roguelite dungeon to fight against powerful intimidating enemies, with the goal of creating the ultimate lineup. Focus your efforts on fully unlocking at least four Apostles, while also learning how their skills synergize together.

For those wondering, Apostles, little yellow companions, are not simply mascots; they’re essential allies who can turn the tides of the battle! Your mission? Clear each level and eventually defeat the final boss. Every first dungeon entry of the day is free, but every additional run will cost you Souls (a currency earned by playing the game). Spend them wisely!

Boods - the feral lost wandering souls - they lurk in rooms of the dungeon. Your mission is to take on the waves of boods in the various battle rooms. Completing the room will give you the chance to unlock new Apostles or Artifacts, and gain Unpurified Gold (a currency used in the dungeon shop). Artifacts are godly treasures that grant you effects that strengthen your combat power, such as increasing damage and critical chance. The more challenging the room, the greater treasures you’ll find when completing it!

There are also other types of rooms in the dungeon - the Shop, Portal, Elite, and Boss rooms. The shop room allows you to make purchases such as potions, Artifacts, and sealed Apostles using Unpurified Gold, while the portal room lets you return to the Cradle temporarily to take a break and cook hot pot for your cute little doods. Utilize your Unpurified Gold to buy what you need in battles, and gain special battle effects by cooking hot pot in the Cradle. Elite rooms are harder versions of regular battle rooms, and the Boss rooms are where, well, you take on the boss! Pick your path strategically - you only get one life!

Unlocking Apostles

Apostles come in different classes with a variety of skills and Individual Value Stats (IV). There are currently a total of 6 classes, including Warrior, Guardian, Hunter, Rogue, Mage, and Priest. Different classes serve different purposes and have different skill pools. The higher the IV of an Apostle, the better the stats they possess. Let’s introduce you to these Apostles:

• Warrior: Frontline physical attackers specialized in close combat.

• Guardian: Frontline tankers. Meat shield!

• Hunter: Squishy physical attackers specialized in ranged attacks.

• Rogue: Sneaky physical attackers who assassinate squishy enemies.

• Mage: Magical attackers who use AoE attacks and play tricks.

• Priest: Your ultimate healing machines. Protect them!

Each Apostle class has a pool of 8 skills, and every Apostle will randomly have 3. However, only one primary skill is unlocked, while the other two are Sealed off. In order to unseal all 3 skills and level them up, you have to find and merge other Apostles who share the same skill. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but we promise it gets easier once you try it out! Player vs Player (PvP) Arena

The Basics

As mentioned above, we only recommend playing PvP once you have familiarized yourself with Planet/Apostle skills you enjoy using, as this game mode is not for the faint of heart - your knowledge and understanding of the game will be tested. For those of you starting out, we highly recommend using the pre-set decks that come with your standard “seed” planet.

In our PvP game mode, you will battle a Best of 3 against other players, and fight to be the last one standing! In this game mode, your ability to improvise is very important, as no two battles look the same. In order to have the best chance of winning, recognizing the Planet/Apostle skills, understanding mana regeneration, and being able to position your units safely are all essential. You might find PvP a bit overwhelming at first, but don’t give up, with enough practice you can master the combat skills and be a divine CHAMPION!

Note: In order to play PvP, you will need to have either unlocked at least 4 Apostles with 3 unsealed skills from PvE, or own four Apostle NFTs, purchasable from other players on the official Marketplace. 

Leaderboard and rewards

Every battle you win in the PvP mode will reward you with stars, Animus, Souls, and ANIMA. Stars rank you up, Animus can be used around the game, and Souls are used to enter the PvE dungeon. For users who are playing with Planet or Apostle NFTs, you will be able to earn ANIMA per win with stamina. Depending on your leaderboard placement, you will get rewarded things like Apostle Tickets, APRS, and APRM.

As mentioned above, players using Planet of Apostle NFTs can earn ANIMA by winning their games. Players have a base 10 stamina per day, up to 20 if you top up with Animus. Stamina doesn’t carry over to the next day, so make sure you exhaust all of the stamina to get the most out of your time. Do keep in mind, however, that win trading, or losing on purpose, is not allowed - those who try to bend the rules will get their goodies snatched away by the doody gods!
