Developers Note
This will be the last balancing patch of this leaderboard. We are aware some skills that are not in this patch may need to be looked at, but we do not want to make too many changes before the leaderboard ends.
Earth C1: The Immovable Rock
EC1 was overperforming according to our metrics. Mainly its damage was too high for the amount of utility it provided given how accessible it is. The damage nerf should keep it more in line with other low C skills given its utility value.
Earth C5: Corrupted Claws
EC5 is currently one of the strongest skills in the meta for several reasons
The Corrupted Grounds provide extremely strong apostle clear + Avatar damage from the stacking rot + toxic application
Enemy Avatar is heavily disadvantaged when moving over the Corrupted Grounds due to the disabling of dash on top of the grounds + damage from rot and toxic
Amount of area covered by two Corrupted Grounds is quite large, and the duration at 10 seconds is substantial
Costs 3 mana
Given how strong it is while only costing 3 mana, we want to reduce the frustration element players experience playing against EC5. As a result we decided a duration nerf on both Corrupted Grounds was a good place to start.
With all of this being said, we don't want to kill the skill. We know that many players have been using it in their builds and we want to preserve its core strength. We will monitor EC5's performance post-nerf and see if it requires additional changes.
Water C2: Chilling Flail
WC2 is also one of the strongest skills in the meta. It boasts a win rate of just under 60%, making it the third highest win rate skill on the current patch. It also has one of the highest play rates of skills currently. WC2 being a strong skill in the meta is healthy for the game as it is one of the few skillshot skills in the game.
That being said, it's overperforming a bit too much currently. We are nerfing the amount of pullback distance when hooked, and reducing the amount of ATK speed + movement speed gained by landing WC2. This change should lessen the disadvantage of being hit by WC2 and the resulting follow up damage. We want to keep WC2 as a strong skill in the meta given it's unique mechanic and it should still be a strong skill in the meta.
Water C3: Revenant's Domain
Revenant's domain is also one of the premier skills in the current meta. A big reason for this is that players preferred to invest only 1 point into the base skill with all 3 upgrades. As a result players were getting a little too much utility from a relatively low point investment
To balance this utility to points investment we have redistributed the power of WC3's Dash Recharge % to higher levels
Water C6: Tidebreaker
Tidebreaker is one of the strongest skills in the meta. It boasts one of the highest play rates in addition to a 72% win rate. One of the biggest reasons for this is Tidebreaker's multi-faceted utility to gap close, clear the board, and be a significant Avatar threat
We have reduced Tidebreakers ATK Scaling, while also dealing bonus damage to Avatars which scales up at levels 6-8
This should help focus Tidebreaker's strength as an avatar focused damage skill while reducing its effectiveness as an apostle clearing tool
This change should bring some value to the higher levels of Tidebreaker to make the point investment feel worth it
Air C4: Thunderstrike
In the fury patch, we've noticed Air skills seem to be relatively weak compared to its counterparts in other elements. We want to give some love to the mid tier Air skills and Thunderstrike has potential to be a strong skill in the right builds. By lowering the detonation time and increasing the knock up duration of the Energy Crack we hope to reward the player more for landing a well placed Thunderstrike.
Earth C3: Spike Wheel Eruption
Since the introduction of Fury, we've noticed drops in the playrates of previously meta Wisdom skills. To encourage more diversity in the meta we have increased the projectile range of EC3. This change should help increase it's play rate in the current meta and give more options for wisdom players looking for an easy to access damage skill
Water C3: Tsunami Cannon + Air C3: The Storm Spear
We've heard the community feedback following the implementation of the 0.5 second cast time. These skills in particular were affected heavily as the function and value of these skills were severely impacted by the cast time introduction. We are rolling back the cast time on these skills so that they have a place in the meta.
Air C5: Gustwing Unbound
A classic community favorite, AC5 is getting a small buff to the healing on the return of the feathers. We want to encourage players to run this skill more as it creates a more unique meta having this skill in the mix. This buff should reward players for landing their feather return well.

From now on, Apostles can be fused to increase IV
Apostle Fusion allows players to evolve their apostles by consuming other apostles. A full explanation can be seen in our discord announcement!
