Salutations my Doods! Hope y’all have been doin’ swell. Today we have a giveaway to announce, but first, we want to level with you: Apeiron is a big game — and new: there’s never been anything like it before! You have the Doods, Planets, Stars, Godlings, Avatars, Spirit Cores, Apostles, Celestial Conjunction, Primeval Legacies, Alignment, Deckbuilding combat, C-Skills and P-Skills, Abiogenesis, Mythological Galaxies…we’ve built up quite a lexicon of Apeiron-isms over the past few months, and that’s without even getting into how all of these systems interact.

Now of course, we’ve released lots of blog posts about how it all fits together, and the info is stashed away in our whitepaper as well. But we thought it would be great if Apeiron could be made more accessible for our newcomers who might be looking to get a quick idea of what our game is about. And this is where YOU come in!

We’re happy to announce the Apeiron Grand Prix! So the way this one is going to work is like this: we want y’all to make something that introduces some aspect of Apeiron that you think is really neat. You could make a video, flyer, poster, song, poem, painting, sculpture…you get the idea. Ultimately, it can be anything about Apeiron in any form, it just needs to be a bite-sized nibble rather than a full-course meal.

Please note that we’ll be judging the entries not only on length and style but on information conveyed. If you can explain concisely how alignment works or the god-game and how to grow your Dood communities through miracles…that’s awesome! Similar thing for combat and deckbuilding. We want our newbies to get an idea of how Apeiron plays out, and we’ll be looking for entries directed towards that goal.

For example: let’s say you really like the Dood Apostles, and you collected all of them from the Origins Collection. You could make a short little video about the Apostles and how they are going to be used in combat as you fight against the forces of Chaos (and other players) across the godiverse! Or maybe you highlight your favorite Apostle class and how you plan to use that class’s skills in combination with a certain Avatar or another class — show us the team builds you have planned!

Or maybe you’re more into the Planet breeding side of things — perhaps you have a couple of Planets yourself that you picked up from our Primeval Planet Presale. You could make a tasty little graphic about the ins and outs of Celestial Conjunction and how you’re hyped to breed your own Planet NFT space empire.

So now you know what we want, let’s get to the good stuff: the prizes. We’re going to have 4 prize tiers, presented as below in the form of a handy table:

That’s right, for this contest we’ll be giving away Primeval Planet Cores! In fact, if you do well enough and manage to make it all the way up to Divinely Doodtastic, you’ll win a total of THREE cores — which is, quite frankly, a lot of value. If you didn’t purchase a core during the Presale, and you want to get your own Primeval Planet NFT, this is your chance!

The Apeiron Grand Prix will run from Apr 30th (00:00 GMT+8) to May 17th (23:59 GMT+8). Please note that the sooner you submit, the better! We will be judging entrants on a rolling basis. Obviously you don’t want to rush something out the door, but if you can get something of high quality ready fast — don’t wait for deadline day, send it out now!

Alright, so now let’s discuss the nitty gritty details:

• Make something short and informative about Apeiron!

• Any format — be creative!

• Post it somewhere on the internet (Youtube, TikTok, Reddit, etc). Or in the physical realm. Or both! Then, link it or screenshot it and post it in our on our Discord channel #social-feed-posts. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU DON’T DO THIS WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOUR SUBMISSION.

• Multiple submissions — ok! Duplicate submissions — not ok!

• Feel free to work as a team! Please note, however, that prizes will be the same as teams as for individuals.
