Hey doods! And welcome to our first blogpost of the new year. Hope y’all had some great holidays — we sure didn’t: our whole team is nose-to-the-grindstone focused on the coming game and token launch! But as the new year’s parties wind down, don’t forget that our Ronin Migration Celebration is still ongoing — if you haven’t already, make sure to migrate your assets to our new Marketplace ASAP.

And the event’s aren’t stopping anytime soon! Coming up next we have a unique staking opportunity — the Foonie Mavis Nebula Expedition, a special crossover collab with Axie Infinity — where you can actually win your own Star NFT, Apeiron’s “land”, in the one-of-a-kind Axie Constellation. To kick this off we are inviting the Axie Prophet- Jihoz himself — to a Battle Party Discord AMA on January 11th, 11:45pm HKT.

Now then, in this blog we’ll be covering all you need to know and answering your questions about the $APRS Community Round and Foonie Mavis Expedition!

But before we get to that the first phase of our PvP leaderboard will be ending earlier than we originally scheduled for — the new closing date is Jan 14th 11:59pm HKT. Make sure to reach at least gold tier for airdrop eligibility. Higher ranks reward more airdrops! The new PvP leaderboard launching on Jan 15 will feature even more rewards.

We will also be inviting various partner NFT projects and communities to join in on playtesting our PvP, while allowing a certain quota for them to be approved for airdrops (at a discounted rate of around 30% compared to Planet holders’ 100%). Watch out for the tweet coming out soon and remember to tag your favorite NFT projects out there to apply!

“Happy New Year doods! Time sure does not fly when one enters crypto and game development, it’s only been 2 years since we came but it sure felt like we’ve been building together with the community for ages already (Dem crypto OGs from before 2017 oughta be dinosaurs!). So much can happen in such short time frames, and the quality of people one can meet is eye opening, to be able to meet the most die hard fans and supporters from a sea of paperhand degens, innovative scammers and hustling BDs (BDs… BDs everywhere!!)… It sure has been a fun and lively journey! Now as we enter the new year and finally get ready to set sail into the sea… I want to take this opportunity to share a few words to all who helped shape Apeiron to what it is today.

First I must thank our entire team (Including you Wranglers and DADi) for their hard work over the past 2.5 years, we grew rapidly and we demanded a lot of things from you all, often with little recognition and emotional support that tends to come a little late. As we approach our launch, tensions and pressure is building up, with a lot of pent up emotions about to explode… it’s always the darkest before dawn, and please know that we will all get through this together, as a team and family, and you will not be alone in times of need. I used to spend time getting to know each colleague individually in the past (no, not forcing them to drink, just a normal lunch usually) but time just won’t allow me to do so ever since we entered full production after the seed raise. My 2024 goal is to find time to sit down with each of you individually so I can learn more about your stories before and after you joined this crazy company! (lol I can sense some scared and “no thanks” faces already). Please, don’t worry, I’ll keep it casual. I just hope you learned some things you can find useful during your tenure here and that you can be proud to tell everyone you are part of the Apeiron team in the future! I know we are very far from the best management team but you guys are definitely the best we’ve seen in Hong Kong in the past 7 years! If we are to make it on the global stage, this is the team that can make it happen! And this year is it! This is the year where your talent and passion (via countless hours of OT and hustles over weekends and holidays!) shall finally see the light of day! Let’s give it all we’ve got and show the world what we are capable of!

Next up of course is to our doody community, we’ve managed to come this far all because of your support. The countless hours you spent grinding our dungeons… typing loving or raging feedback in our feedback channels… the time you spent doodifying our discord and the socials… life truly is rather busy being a dood! We have to thank each and every one of you for being patient with us… but we are happy to tell you that the wait is finally over! Our launch is here! Yet… As we arrive at this critical juncture, we will be counting on you doods ever more! At Foonie Magus our fundamental goal is to focus on the product, the game, the merch, the official content… we will need to be relying on our doods to help come up with doody ideas and execute them with us to help expand the community and convert more doods! Yes, we shall empower our doods and DADi with more rewards coming up. The coming times will be bustling and turbulent, but I want to remind you all to always keep up your doody spirits! Staking for Stars: The Foonie Mavis Nebula Expedition

We’ve already dropped some info on this one before, in our Xmas lore piece. To recap, the Foonie Mavis Nebula Expedition represents the birth of the Axie Stella Constellation, and will reward Star NFTs, which function as the rentable land of the Apeiron godiverse. This is truly a one-of-a-kind expedition.

For this expedition, you’ll be able stake a Planet NFT, up to 12 S2.R Apostle NFTs from the newly minted classes (Guardian, Rogue, Mage) AND your $RON tokens — as much as you want! Users will then generate Vapor, which will give a chance to win mini-Black Holes for Planet breeding, Astronomical NFTs for Star customizations, and (the piece de resistance) up to 10 Stars. This expedition will run from Jan 12 — Jan 19.

In regards to staking Apostles, the Vapor generated by these Apostles IS affected by IV. Additionally, minted Origins tickets of those classes may be staked for extra Vapor. We recommend minting out your highest IV Apostles and potentially purchase some as well to prepare to stake the full 12 to maximize the amount of Vapor you get.

Please be aware that in order to mint an Apostle into an Apostle NFT it has to be reserved for 7 days…BUT we’ve shortened it to 3 days for this event, so make sure to reserve the S2.R Apostles you want to mint ASAP to give hard workers an extra edge over the RON whales!

We’ll also be giving away some S2.R Apostle Tickets this week, which you can mint into a random S2.R Apostle (with random IVs). You can snag these tickets on our Wednesday Game Night and Thursday Battle Party, as well as through the LoreKeeper Sunday AMA. 2) What are the tiers of the Stars in the Axie Stella constellation that will be available to win through this Expedition?

The Axie Stella Constellation consists of the following Stars which will be available for this Expedition:

• Tier 4 Star x1

• Tier 5 Star x1

• Tier 6 Star x1

• Tier 7 Star x1

• Tier 8 Star x1

• Tier 9 Star x2

• Tier 10 Star x3

Additionally there are:

• Tier 11 Star x2

…these will be reserved for our Monthly Origins Raffle, a special raffle for Origins Apostles holders who collected 10+ unique classes of Origins Apostles.

3) What are the Astronomicals that will be available to win through this Expedition?

There’ll be T3 Asteroid Belts for gaining Orbital Tracks as well as T3 Suns to further improve your Star’s Planet-aging buff.

4) How will the Stars be distributed to winners?

Stars will be distributed in the same way as all of our staking Expeditions: it’s random, but the more Vapor you have the higher your chances of getting a better reward.

5) Do Stars from this Expedition come with their own Astronomicals?

No. If you would like to customize your Star, you may purchase Astronomicals on our Marketplace, or you may potentially win them from this Expedition.

6) Stars help Planets age faster. How will age be implemented in the coming S3 game launch? What other utilities does age have?

In S3, every Planet contains Relic and Inventory Slots for holding your minted and unminted Apostles, respectively. Placing Apostles in these slots will allow them to survive the reset cycles, so you can carry them to a new cycle to further upgrade them and start off stronger. The older the Planet, the more slots it has, and therefore the more Apostles you can have for each of your Planets.

Age has further benefits as well:

• Age will allow access to special dungeons and regions in future game releases

• Age grants more allocation in the $APRS community round

• Age grants more airdrops, such as $ANIMA battledrops and airdrops upon the $ANIMA launch with S3

The $APRS Community Round

$APRS (Apeiros) is our premium governance token, and we will soon be hosting our Community Round so that users may purchase it for the first time. We understand that you have some questions, and we’ve got answers!

1) What is the amount of Community Round allocation per individual?

Please refer to the below chart*:

*Assets must be migrated to the Ronin chain to be eligible for lots.

Eg. A wallet holding 2 Planets — a 700 year old Mythic and a 3000 year old Arcane — will receive 3 (for the Mythic) + 6 (for the Arcane) + 3 (for having 3000 years of Age) = 12 Lots

Please note that the table above will be subject to change as we are still discussing with the community, and we intend to listen to initial feedback.

Furthermore, valuation is still subject to final confirmations with CEX, such that the actual cost per lot will be revealed after the CEX has finalized their offers and confirmed dates. The reference per lot contribution range will be between $200 to $275.

2) What are the utilities for $APRS?

$APRS is primarily used for expanding the ecosystem of Apeiron NFTs. It is an essential component of Celestial Conjunction (Planet Breeding) as well as Apostle minting. It can additionally be used for Orbital Renting, although that feature hasn’t been released yet.

3) Are $APRS holders entitled to any other notable benefits?

Beginning in Season 4, we are planning to run Expedition pools for Primeval holders only, together with staking APRS, to give out a percentage of any surplus from our Community Treasury. The Treasury will be built via a share of profits from the ecosystem, which we will be reporting monthly after the launch of Season 3.

Do be mindful that Seasons 3 and 4 constitute our growth phase and we will likely be spending more on marketing and growth during this time, so profits will likely be limited.

4) As $APRS will be used in Planet breeding, what will happen to mBH? What will be the new breeding costs?

mBH will still be usable and will be available as an occasional reward. The new breeding costs are not yet finalized. Please wait for more details on those at a later date.

5) When will the Community Round be held?

We are currently communicating with our partners on the exact date, so we ask for your patience on this.

6) Will the APRS WL application role still work?

Yes, it still works! We will be offering a limited allocation of this role coming up. Stay tuned to our Discord for more details.

7) Will Apeiron be running a Ronin node?

We plan to have one eventually, but our priority is to focus first on launching $APRS.

8) How will KYC (Know Your Client) be carried out?

We will be working with Impossible Finance, Ronin’s first launchpad partner. You can read about how the process works HERE.

9) Are there any restrictions on KYC? Which countries cannot perform KYC?

Residents from countries or regions such as the US, Mainland China, and UN-sanctioned countries are excluded from participating. You may find the list of UN-sanctioned countries HERE.

10) When will the snapshot of the $APRS allocation take place?

The Community Round will take place over the course of a week, and the snapshot will be taken several times during that week.
