Hello everyone! Today we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Sky Mavis and the Ronin Chain, as well as the new Stardust daily check-in reward system! There’s a lot to talk about, but before we go into it, we have an important reminder! The LATEST that you can reserve your Apostles for minting with S2 Doodelic Wing and Dood Halo will be on December 8th, then the last day to mint your Apostles will be on December 15th. That means you need to finish your dood Apostle hunting by the 8th to get them reserved in time for minting!

Now then: for those unfamiliar, Ronin is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain, specifically crafted for gaming — a perfect match for Apeiron! This network was launched by Sky Mavis, the creators of Web3’s breakout title, Axie Infinity, which has generated over $1.3 billion (yowzer!) in revenue. Ronin is the only blockchain that has proven capable of scaling a single game to accommodate millions of daily active users. Furthermore, it has outperformed OpenSea’s transaction volumes, further attesting to its robustness and scalability. In this sense, we believe that the Ronin blockchain is a great fit for Apeiron and its future development.

With Apeiron’s Marketplace migrating to the Ronin network, we hope our players will be able to enjoy secure, low costing, and near-instant transactions. We’re excited about the efficiency that the Ronin blockchain will facilitate within the marketplace, however, in order to make this migration we’re going to have to work together. So let’s talk about how it’s going to go! Without further delay, let’s delve into the changes that this migration will bring to Apeiron~

A New Beginning

The Ronin Migration marks a new beginning for Apeiron, and as such we’ve got plenty of events planned. First, you can expect some tasty cross IP collaborations. While true interoperability may be some way to go, cross licensing opportunities so that Axies and Doods can adorably hang out together is certainly on the cards. Ronin — and the web3 gaming community — is a big family, and we hope to continue to expand our collaboration portfolio with fellow developers.

Second, we have the arrival of a new Star Constellation! A mysterious fracture in the godiverse has warped the stars into a dangerously cute constellation in the night sky. As part of the celebration of the “Foonie — Mavis” union, asset holders will be able to get a chance to obtain the unique Star (land) NFTs from this new and upcoming constellation!

And we have lots more besides — further celebrations, invitationals, guaranteed airdrop rewards…there’s never been a better time to dive into Apeiron!

Marketplace Changes 👀

The new Ronin Marketplace will support a wide range of tokens for the purchase of Planets and Apostles. The tokens that will be supported at launch include RON, APRS and Anima using the Katana API. Players will be able to exchange APRS and Anima to WETH on the Katana DEX (Decentralized Exchange).

As we are migrating Apeiron’s marketplace to the Ronin blockchain, there are a few important things that we need our users to keep in mind. First, the Polygon marketplace will remain active but with limited features — users will still be able to unlist, unstake, detach astronomicals and detach Planets from Stars as well as collect rents. However, in order to be able to use them in the game and to interact with our smart contracts in the future, players must bridge all their assets over to our new Ronin marketplace.

The actual migration period will start in mid December and continue for a limited time, so make sure you migrate your Apeiron assets over as soon as convenient! We’ll also be releasing further features and hosting epic celebration events(!!!) during the migration period, so stay tuned!

What happens if you miss this migration period? Don’t worry, we will ensure your assets can be migrated, but you will miss out on all the migration rewards during this period :(

Getting Set Up on the New Ronin Marketplace

Currently, our marketplace allows users to sign in with Login/Sign Up with a Wallet. Following the migration, the Ronin marketplace will replace that to Login/Sign Up with Ronin Wallet or email, as seen pictured below.

Now you’ll follow some different steps depending on your situation:

NEW USERS: Make a Ronin Wallet (see below), then use it to sign into our website OR sign up for our website with your email address and then bind a Ronin Wallet.

EXISTING USERS: Sign in using your old marketplace email. Then, make a Ronin Wallet if you don’t already have one (see below). Then, import your MetaMask Wallet using your Private Key to Ronin following this step-by-step guide here.

MAKING A RONIN WALLET: To make a new Ronin Wallet, simply go to the Google Chrome Web Store, install the extension, and follow the steps from there. We’ve also got a helpful video!

Once you have bound your Ronin Wallet to your new marketplace account, you’re good to go and can start collecting rewards through our new Stardust daily check-in system!

Stardust Login Bonuses✨

In order to encourage our players to better understand the features and goods available through our marketplace, as well as to prepare everyone for the coming token and game launch, we’re introducing Stardust Login Bonuses for all of our users! All you need to do is check-in to the new marketplace and you’ll be rewarded with a variety of goodies, including RON, Foonie Emblems (FE), Animus, Booty Time, and Battle Pass Exp.

The daily check-in is set up to be a weekly type of deal, so you’ll check-in daily, and for each consecutive day of checking-in, you’ll get more Stardust to spend. Then, once the week is done, the check-in bonuses are reset and the cycle begins anew. Please note that a Ronin Wallet must be linked to your account to receive your daily check-in rewards.

We will also have a missed check-in feature through our Discord! So that even if you miss a day of check-in, you can go to our Discord, send the /dailycheckin command, and make up one day. Please note that every user can only make up one day per week in this way. This feature will be launching in early December.

Also, we’re aware that this is a big update and that some users may miss a check-in or two as everyone settles in to the new marketplace. That’s ok! Signing in early is more like a bonus check-in, and we’ll be making sure all of our users get to enjoy the migration with our upcoming celebration events.

NFT Bridging Preview (Coming mid December)

This is our guide for the migration that will happen around mid December.

Migration Step-by-Step:

Step 1: To begin the process, you will first need to create a Ronin Wallet.

Step 2: Connect your Polygon and Ronin wallets.

Step 3: Select the asset(s) that you would like to bridge.

Step 4: Confirm migration in Polygon.

Step 5: Confirm migration in Ronin.

Step 6: You’re all set!

For each bridging transaction, players will be able to bridge 20 assets. If you have more than 20 Apeiron assets, you will need to do multiple transactions. Users will be given 20 free bridging transactions after binding their email to a Ronin wallet, so will be able to bridge up to 400 assets at no cost (up to 20 assets per transaction and 20 free transactions).

Users may choose to bridge assets such as Planets, Apostles, Stars, NFTs from the Godiverse Collection, and Origin Collection Apostle Tickets.

Please note that ONLY Stars WITHOUT any Astronomicals and staked Planets attached can be bridged. If you’re having any issues bridging your Stars or if they aren’t shown as being available to be bridged, please double check to make sure they don’t have any attachments on the Polygon marketplace.

This is a new beginning, a new chapter in the Apeiron story, and so we’re going to be having a TON of rewarding events to welcome newcomers and show appreciation for our early supporters.
