“Hey! Knight! What are you doing? Let’s go! We can’t fight them anymore! It’s dinnertime anyway…”

*Knight looks back and smiles, worn out and on the point of collapse, using his weapon to stand up*

“I don’t want to give up, doods…Gotta have one last try…”

*Enemies loom over the Knight and party menacingly. Knight stands illuminated by the shadowy figures. Hopeless. Doomed. Courageous.*

“I…will…NOT…GIVE…UP!”

*Swings his sword to the sky — a beam of light shoots down, rallying the party. The Knight mounts his Sdood and points his sword forward. The sdood rears back and neighs majestically.*

As one: “CHAAAARRRGGEEE!!!”

Hey gang! He took a while to come to the party, but today we are happy to announce the next of our Origins Collection Apostle giveaways: it’s the Noble Knight Nexus! Phew, housekeeping…done! Onto the Knight~ The noble Knight Apostle is a courageous Dood who rides an even nobler Sdood into battle. From the back of his trusty mount, the Knight moves swiftly around the battlefield, providing support wherever necessary. Healers or casters need protecting? Knight. Frontline buckling? Knight. Enemy need smiting? KNIGHT.

What inspired the Knight to join your group? The Knight is on a heroic quest, of course! Where to? He’s not sure. To do what, exactly? Again, the details escape him. He has a journal in which he writes down all the details, but he never looks at it. Nah, he just prefers to look at the mini-map and follow the dotted line to the next objective…and the dotted line led straight to you! So now he follows you around and prepares for a new adventure…

In combat, the Knight on his Sdood is a mobile force to be reckoned with. Wearing heavy armor and equipped with the classic sword’n’shield, the Knight is ready to take on anyone. He’s best suited to more defensive work, patching up any weak points in the defense, maneuvering around where needed, but he can also scrap with the best of ’em if necessary. Skills like Sdood Dash give him the ability to reposition on the drop of a hat, while Valorous Rally allows him to output increased damage when attacking the same enemy with an ally. Teamwork!

Outside of combat, the Knight is known by the others as, pretty simply, just a nice Dood — friendly and kind…if at times, slightly gullible and naive, and liable to be tricked by the Rogue. However, the main point of conversation around the camp is not the Knight, but Sdood. What is Sdood? He acts like a horse, moves like a horse…but looks like a dood. The other Doods have various theories. The Knight claims Sdood is his noble companion, which doesn’t explain anything. The Priest SWEARS he saw Sdood walking around on two legs at dinner like just another Dood, but the other Doods don’t believe it. Who could have such a strong commitment to never breaking character? It beguiles the imagination…
